Director of Shendi's Media, Culture and Communications Department, Bakri Al-Sayed Al-Azraq, said that the significant increase and expansion of electronic media published by Shendi confirms that societal issues and performance of the government were examined by the fourth estate.
He added that the electronic press published by Shendi, in addition to electronic publishing in general, made Shendi very present in the media.
He said it poses a big challenge for media professionals to improve the media content and message.
Furthermore, Al-Azraq said that the initiatives carried out by the media in Shendi, especially on community issues, and its effective partnerships in organizing the celebrations of the International Day of Older Persons, Pink October, of white blind people and mass organization The circumcision operations of children in expatriate shelters have found acceptance from the community and the authorities, and that the wide participation in these celebrations is proof of the success of these initiatives carried out by the media.
