President and members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council mourn Sudanese hero and world swimmer Abdul Majeed Sultan Kijab

The President and members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council mourn, with great sadness and sorrow, before God Almighty, the late, God willing, Sudanese champion and world-class swimmer, Abdul Majeed Sultan Muhammad Saleh Kijab. The one who died an inevitable death from an illness that didn't keep him waiting long.

The Sovereignty Council, while mourning him, mourns for the Sudanese people a national hero who excelled and traveled the fields of regional and international competitions, raising the Sudanese flag in all swimming competitions, in which he won numerous medals coronation.

Kejab was a model of dedication and perseverance for all athletes. His legacy will remain a source of pride and pride for all Sudanese and for future generations.

We ask God to cover him with his vast mercy and to inspire his family, his lovers and his admirers with patience, comfort and good condolences. We belong to Allah and to Him we will return.
