She was received by the Secretary General to the State Government, Mr. Othman Mohamed Othman, Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed, Director of the Nile Sector at the Authority, and a number of leaders.

Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed confirmed that the visit will see the signing of a memorandum of scientific and research partnership between the Authority and the Nile Valley University, aimed at exchanging experiences and knowledge, working together in laboratories and to contribute to the development of the technical committees concerned. . Noting that the visit will see the opening of six modern laboratories at the authority's headquarters in Atbara, including the cement laboratory and the label stamping laboratory, which will help improve the quality of local products and increase their competitiveness.

He stressed that the Nile sector bears an increasing technical burden since the transfer of responsibilities, given the difficult security conditions experienced by the war-affected states. This is due to the challenges that these conditions have imposed on the sector, which require increased efforts to maintain the level of services.

He stressed that the visit includes a visit to the locality of Abou Hamad and the region of Al-Ubaidiya, to learn about the experiences of export development supported by the Authority, with the aim of improving the quality of products local and make them capable of being competitive in the regional market. and global markets.
