The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company… The painful reality of education, locality of Aqiq ✍️ Muhammad Othman Al-Radi

We were fortunate to appoint one of the people of Beja as the Managing Director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company, Mr. Muhammad Taher Omar. We rejoiced and became happy until our throat and vocal cords became infected with severe inflammation.

We remained hopeful and left with our great imagination and wishful thinking that our situation would improve and our resources would be optimally utilized under the leadership of the new director.

Yesterday, recently, the Community Education Support Committee of Aqiq locality sent a letter addressed to the Managing Director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company regarding the support for students examining the intermediate level for this year and the lifting of 'a modest financial cost for 100 students, but unfortunately the Director was proud to provide his support under the pretext of end of year.

While the Managing Director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company said that it had fulfilled all its obligations in supporting social responsibility programs by supporting education, we were surprised by this shocking news.

Aqiq locality, one of the localities in the Red Sea State, has been affected by many wars in the past period, which resulted in the displacement of a large number of residents to the city of Port Sudan, but there is a large group of residents who preferred to live in the region, braving these difficult conditions.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Independent Beja and Amoudiyyat Operators, Hadandawa Superintendent Sayyid Muhammad al-Amin Turk, pushed for the appointment of the current director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company to take charge of the charges of this site in order to provide service to the population of Beja without discrimination or discrimination, but unfortunately it failed the first exam by providing financial support to students in the locality of Aqiq. They were gathered in 3 main villages for the intermediate stage exam.

If the esteemed principal is unable to provide assistance to students, what do we ask him to do and what do we expect him to do? Today's students are in dire need of help, especially as the country witnesses war.

The state's first priorities are to prepare the school environment, support teachers and boarding schools, and provide services to students so that they can achieve high academic results.

Let the esteemed director know that he studied in extremely complex circumstances and that he was one of the boarding school students and that he experienced these conditions that his brothers in the locality of Aqiq are experiencing today. It would have been more appropriate for him to side with them and bow to them. in thanks as they made their way to the exam centers on foot, sleeping on the ground and looking up to the sky.

It is a shame on your forehead, Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, that you reject the request of these students and apologize to them for these flimsy reasons. This is an indication that you are not paying attention to them, and tomorrow. you will leave the site without complaint, as the curses of these students haunt you, and the story has no mercy.

Tomorrow these students will pass this exam with determination and determination, and your behavior will inspire them to overcome difficulties, but they have not forgotten and will not forget your position, which is not worthy of your father, your family , or those who lifted you on their shoulders to put you in this position.

I was a proponent of the people of the states ruling their states and having the opportunity to hold leadership positions because they know the condition of their people, their customs, their traditions and their moods, but unfortunately, I I did not believe in this idea and I became one of its most faithful enemies because of these irresponsible examples of the people of the States.

Thanks to the good young man, Ibrahim Ismail Jamaa, who embraced the idea of opening schools in the state and convinced the policy makers to implement it on the ground, he was able through his connections with various organizations local and international, achieve this. contributed to the start of the school year and succeeded in putting a smile on the faces of students and parents.

The young man, Ibrahim Ismail Jama, submitted a proposal to write the letter to the general director of the Sudan Mineral Resources Company and handed it over to the representative of the Community Education Support Committee of Aqiq locality, the director of the company in the locality of Aqiq. State Brother Tita received the letter and submitted it to the Director General, who, unfortunately, refrained from providing support.

O Nazir of Hadandouh and President of the Supreme Council of Beja Council, you are required to provide leaders whose first and last concern is to serve the people and ensure their comfort, instead of providing leaders who are far removed from the rhythm of life of them. who live around them.
