Minawi makes the call
A call to all Sudanese
The tragic events taking place in the villages of Al-Jazeera State, including violations and genocide, compel us to renew the appeal we made in 2023 in the city of El Fasher. We must be ready to take up arms to defend our lands and our dignity, because these militias will not hesitate to pillage and rape villages if we do not take a firm stance.
I call on all members of our community to stand with the armed forces and joint forces. The courage and resilience shown by the citizens of El Fasher is the result of their decisive decision to protect their families and homes. We have the capacity to defeat these militias by organizing ourselves into large bodies of popular resistance, in coordination with all regular agencies.
El Fasher's experience of popular resistance sets an example to follow, as the heroes of the joint forces stood firm against the rapid support militias and their mercenaries, and we are capable of defeating them at every inch of our territory.
Let us all unite for the good of our country and defend our noble Sudanese values and morals.
