Al-Sarha: The death of global consciousness – The face of truth – ✍️ Ibrahim Shaqlawi
What is happening in the village of Al-Sariha, in the Sudanese state of Al-Jazeera, shows the death of the global human conscience and its inability to condemn the violations committed by the Rapid Support Militia, which targets the civilian population in an organized manner. in all Sudanese states, since the start of this war launched by the militias since April last year after the failed coup attempt against the power, with a local and regional measure aimed at controlling resources of the country and to neutralize national political forces. The Sudanese government has continued to demand condemnation of these brutal campaigns carried out by militias since the massacres in the town of El Geneina in Darfur and until recently in the state of Al-Jazeera, where the organizations International and civil society organizations are calling for the need to take strict measures against the leaders of terrorist militias.
The silence of the international community in the face of these crimes and its indifference to the suffering of the civilian population encourages militias to continue committing massacres and violations without fear of sanctions. We also call on the coordination parties of the civil forces to come forward and lift the veil. the political and media support of this militia, which broke the commitment signed with it in the Addis Ababa Declaration document. Therefore, everyone and the international community must firmly oppose these violations and take necessary measures to stop the flow of mercenaries and transported weapons. deployed by regional countries in Sudan since the start of the war until today to support the militia. The lack of immediate and strong intervention by the international community to condemn this militia and classify it as terrorist favors the continuation of these crimes and undermines justice and justice. human rights in Sudan.
Therefore, as observers believe, international active forces must work with our country to eliminate rapid support militias and achieve justice and peace by adhering to the Jeddah Agreement on Security and Humanitarian Arrangements signed on May 11 from last year in order to save blood. of the Sudanese and restore security and peace. The international community must also be aware of the effects of these violations on social and political life in Sudan, and take the necessary measures to respond to Sudan's complaint to the Security Council against the perpetrators of this war and its supporters to end to these atrocities.
Sudanese society, with all its national affiliations, parties and entities, must work to support the Sudanese government's demands before the international community for joint action (issuance of declarations and demonstrations) to condemn and punish perpetrators of violations to ensure that these horrible crimes The attacks launched by the rapid support militia are not repeated against the citizens, nor in the villages of the island which were killed. In one day, 147 unarmed citizens were killed and displaced in Al-Sariha village, in addition to others. killing and displacement of more than dozens of people in other villages in the east of the island, including the towns of Rifa'a, Tamboul and Al-Hilalia, as well as people killed in Darfur, Kordofan, Khartoum State and in the localities of Omdurman and Karari, and Um Baddah, where daily indiscriminate bombings against citizens, we therefore confirm that common action and local, regional and international solidarity can achieve justice and peace. peace for the Sudanese people who are alone in the flames of this war.
Therefore, the face of truth lies in the importance of looking at what is happening in the village of Al-Sariha and other areas of the Sudanese state of Al-Jazeera, in the localities of Darfur, of Khartoum, Karari and Omdurman, because it is an ethnic cleansing and genocide perpetrated by the militia according to a program announced by its leader, which constitutes an alternative plan in the event of failure of the war program. The international community must come together to confront these brutal violations and immediately put international pressure on those responsible. We must also know that achieving justice and ensuring continued peace in Sudan requires concerted international efforts and joint action to end these heinous crimes. Our country must also adopt a clear position towards countries, regional and international entities that do not move to condemn them. these violations or support the Sudanese people in their plight.
May you always be well.
