Amid the bloody events taking place in Sudan, the threads of a dangerous conspiracy aimed at the security and stability of the country are emerging. A conspiracy woven by internal elements working for external agendas, seeking to destabilize the foundations of the Sudanese state and fragment its social fabric. This conspiracy, revealed by recent events, confirms the extent of the betrayal to which the nation is exposed from those who claim to represent it.
We have recently witnessed how some extremist groups have exploited current events in Sudan to achieve their own goals, working to escalate the conflict and fuel sectarian and ethnic tensions, with the aim of plunging the country into a global civil war. The role of these groups in planning and executing killing and displacement operations that affected innocent civilians, particularly in Al-Jazeera State, has become clearly visible.
These groups did not stop there, but exploited the humanitarian crisis in Sudan to pressure the international community to intervene militarily in the country, under the pretext of protecting civilians. Statements by the leaders of these groups revealed their true intentions, as they expressed their desire to divide Sudan and establish a puppet state affiliated with foreign agendas.
The outcome of the Security Council meeting confirmed the validity of these accusations, with the United Nations Secretary-General confirming that current circumstances do not permit the deployment of international forces in Sudan. The Secretary-General also stressed the need to implement the Jeddah Agreement, end hostilities and protect civilians. These results dealt a heavy blow to these groups who were betting on external intervention to achieve their objectives.
In light of these developments, the state must take decisive measures to confront this malicious conspiracy, including the withdrawal of Sudanese citizenship from agents and traitors who have been proven involved in a conspiracy against the nation, and the bring to justice all the people who financed this plot. These terrorist and sabotage activities must be continued along with those who planned and directed them, while working to strengthen national unity and tolerance among all components of the Sudanese people, through dialogue and understanding and avoiding rhetoric and incitement to hatred. While working to build a state of institutions and law, and applying justice to all without exception.
The conspiracy targeting Sudan is a complex conspiracy that requires the combined efforts of all Sudanese people to confront it. Everyone must realize the seriousness of this conspiracy and work to thwart it, in order to preserve the unity and stability of Sudan.
