The Technical Committee for Health Emergencies in the Red Sea, during its meeting, reviews the health conditions in the State… a decline in the cholera curve in the State

The Technical Committee for Health Emergencies in the Red Sea held its regular meeting at the Emergency Operations Center in Port Sudan. The meeting heard the implementation position of the previous meeting, reports from different departments and presented the epidemiological situation of the recorded cholera cases. in the localities of Port Sudan and Haya, where the curve showed a decrease in cases compared to last week.

The meeting also discussed the fall reports and the health situation in the affected areas.

The meeting reassured the efforts of the response and investigation teams and indicated that the situation is reassuring, as the current week has seen a decrease in cases following the intensive interventions that have taken place.

The meeting decided to activate the ORP irrigation centers in the localities of Haya Darudib, Tokar and Halayeb, with the need to continue environmental health activities to maintain sanitary conditions.
