A historic visit by the Governor of Sennar and the Governor of Gedaref to the liberated city of Dinder

As part of the efforts of the Sennar State Government to restore security and stability, the Governor of Sennar State, Mr. Tawfiq Muhammad Ali, and the Acting Governor of Gedaref State, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin, visited the town of Dinder, which was recently liberated from the desecration of the Rapid Support Militia.

The visit comes at a sensitive time, as local authorities seek to strengthen security and restore basic services in the city which has suffered violations by rapid support militias. The governor of Sennar, executive director of the locality of Dinder, ordered that this measure be implemented. The governors were accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of military and civilian officials, who were received by a number of local community leaders.

The two governors praised the courage of the armed forces, the National Security and Intelligence Service, the Popular Resistance, Mustafarin and the Al-Baraa Brigades, which contributed to the reconstruction of the city, stressing the importance of common action to achieve stability. . Governor Tawfiq Muhammad Ali announced a plan to rehabilitate infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, to ensure a return to normal life. They also provided the people of the region with a thousand food baskets provided by the Red Crescent and the Sennar State Humanitarian Aid Commission.

On the other hand, the two governors held a meeting with a number of citizens to listen to their concerns and problems, and highlighted the government's commitment to providing the necessary support to rebuild the city. Governor-designate Ahmed Amin also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between the two states to achieve sustainable development.

This visit comes in the context of ongoing efforts to regain control of areas that have been subject to militia violations.
