Northern Governor calls for rejection of hate speech and continued coordination and cooperation with Darfur regional government for the benefit of citizens
The Governor of the Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, met in his office with the Coordinator of the Darfur Regional Government in the State, Mayor Al-Tahir Adam, and informed the State Governor of the progress of work at the Darfur regional government office. Government Coordinator in the state, in addition to the ongoing arrangements for students from Darfur to appear for the Secondary School Certificate Examination in the state.
He called on the state governor to reject hate speech and pursue joint coordination and cooperation with the Darfur regional government for the benefit of citizens, promoting the values of peaceful coexistence and strengthening the social fabric.
Mayor Al-Taher thanked the state government, popular resistance and the state community for their continued efforts to treat the wounded of the joint forces at the Dongola Military Hospital.
He also praised their efforts to accommodate people displaced from across Sudan due to war conditions.
