Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jaber inspects government institutions in Dongola, announces solar-powered agricultural equipment exempt from customs

During an inspection visit that included several government institutions in Dongola, the team visited Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, accompanied by a government delegation , the capital of the northern state. He was received by the Governor of the Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, as well as a number of members of his government and leaders of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance in the state.

Lieutenant General Jaber began his visit with a meeting with the State Security Committee, where he was briefed on the security conditions and assured of the arrangements being made to maintain security. During a meeting with popular leaders at the Dongola Airport hall, he announced the customs exemption of solar power units for agricultural purposes, as part of the state's efforts to support the sector agricultural. He highlighted the government's commitment to meeting all requirements for the winter agricultural season, highlighting the state's distinctive capabilities in agricultural and industrial investment and revealing its intention to establish a branch of the Agricultural Research Center in the state.

He also led the initiation of procedures to establish an abattoir to meet global export requirements and requested the preparation of a study on the needs for establishing a power conversion station in the eastern part of the Nil, praising the role of popular resistance and its contributions to strengthening popular resistance. security and stability of the State.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Jaber, Governor of the Northern State, and the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sati Hassan, inaugurated medical equipment and medicines worth over £2 trillion to support hospitals and health centers. Dr Sati confirmed that this step is part of a project to strengthen the state's medical services in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Health and humanitarian organizations.

Lieutenant General Jaber held a meeting with officers of the armed forces to monitor the development of the situation and inspected the wounded from the military operations at the Dongola Military Hospital, where he expressed the appreciation of the leaders for their sacrifices for the good of the nation.

He concluded his visit by inspecting power infrastructure projects and visiting the offices of the Sudan Mineral Resources Corporation, before leaving Dongola Airport, where he was greeted by the state governor and members of his government.

In a statement, the governor of the northern state expressed satisfaction with the results of the visit, which allowed Lieutenant General Jaber to review preparations for the agricultural season and energy projects, and agree to exempt agricultural solar energy equipment from customs, which helps support the state's development efforts.
