Minister of Transport: Other convoys for all island residents in all travel sites
Transport Minister Abu Bakr Abu Al-Qasim announced that the federal government would send convoys to all population displacement sites on the island, and that there was a convoy to the Al region. -Faw in Gedaref State, led by the Minister of Health, Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, in collaboration with the Nile Convoy.
He said the federal government is accused of ordering the movement of all the people, and that this convoy is led by federal government ministers and relevant federal and state humanitarian aid authorities.
The Transport Minister lauded the great role played by Nile State, particularly Shendi locality, in providing support and shelter to residents of the eastern villages of the island.
He stressed that the federal government should pay attention to Shendi locality, especially in the area of services, roads and others, as it has hosted thousands of expatriates since the beginning of the war until today in from the States of Khartoum and Gezira and has provided many services and great businesses.
He announced his ministry's interest in the following works in Nile State, particularly in roads and bridges.
He highlighted the results obtained in the rehabilitation of Atbara airport.
