With the participation of the Sudanese Telecommunications Company, the activities of the seventh Conference on the challenges of addiction treatment for the year “2024” concluded (Thursday), which was launched (Wednesday)… entitled “The drugs, the first war against Sudan and the challenges of Treatment under current war conditions'… that she holds the Bit Makli National Organization in Port Sudan, the administrative capital.

During the opening session, speakers praised the role of the Bit Makli Organization in the treatment of drug addiction, emphasizing that drug addiction represents a great danger for the future of young people affected by this disease.
For her part, the head of the Bit Makli organization, Advisor Lubna Ali, said that the conference contains four axes represented in “the security axis, the prisoners' axis, the social axis and the therapeutic axis” .
Lubna praised the ongoing partnership with Sudani and said, “Special thanks to the Sudani Company, who made the impossible possible,” and added, “Without Sudani's support, the Qadir Cancer Treatment Center drug addiction and psychological rehabilitation would not have existed.
For his part, the Director of Social Responsibility of the Sudani Company, Mr. Mustafa Moayed, praised the role played by the Bit Makli organization, the initial partner in this work.
Moayad explained that fighting drug addiction requires joint work and said: “We, the Sudanese, have remained and, through our social responsibility to our society, we support initiatives and constantly work for a better future. » He added: “We did it. » numerous partnerships of which we are proud in this area… and we confirm the continuation of work side by side with civil work organizations for a society dominated by noble values.
The closing day of the conference featured art therapy sessions, in addition to honoring a number of institutions and partners of the Pet Makele organization at the Red Sea Police House.
