An agreement between Zakat and Shindi Oncology Center to provide support and assistance to cancer patients
Zakat Debts in River Nile State and Shendi University Oncology and Cancer Research Center signed an agreement under which support and assistance will be provided to cancer patients by the Zakat Office for poor patients, in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the agreement between the two parties.
The agreement was signed by Farah Mustafa of the Unified Treatment Department of Zakat Office in Nile State and Shendi University Oncology Treatment and Cancer Research Center, Director General of the Center, Dr. Awad Al-Tayeb.
The director of the Zakat office in Shindi Ayoub, Ahmed Abdel Majid, described this measure as very important, as it benefits a large segment of poor cancer patients, given the conditions the country is experiencing due to the war , which affected many people economically. .
The director of the Zakat office said that the Shendi University Cancer Treatment and Research Center has become the only government agency that receives cancer patients after the closure of many hospitals and specialized centers in cancer treatment in Khartoum and Gezira states due to war. , which put pressure on the Shendi Cancer Treatment and Research Center, which became the only destination for cancer patients.
He said that this agreement signed between the Nile State Zakat Office and Shendi University Oncology Treatment and Cancer Research Center is important to provide aid and assistance to poor patients in accordance with the requirements of the contract signed between the two parties. .
