What is needed is national awareness to address the challenges – slowly – ✍️ Khaled Muhammad Al-Baqir
🔴 National awareness is one of the basic elements needed to address the various challenges Sudan faces today. This is evident from the urgent need to understand the role played by internal and external forces in destabilizing the country. The current situation requires us to sort the cards and distinguish friends from enemies, especially in light of the complex political and economic circumstances we are experiencing. This requires that all social groups become aware of the importance of national cohesion to build a better future. We must understand that national consciousness is the element that can provide us with a solid basis for dealing with crises.
🔴 Sudan has recently witnessed a local and international conspiracy through which conspiratorial forces seek to implement suspicious plans against the country. Targeting Sudan is part of the desire to control its natural resources and exploit its wealth. The tendency to divide social and political activities contributes to reinforcing the internal division these forces need to expand their influence. All parties must work to confront these attempts and achieve unity in the face of all challenges. This requires a strong national response aimed at strengthening political and social positions against conspiracy attempts.
🔴 The attention of many regional and international powers is focused on Sudan, as these powers seek to profit from the country's buried treasures. The driving force behind these strategies lies in the wealth of mineral and environmental resources that Sudan possesses. These resources represent important revenues that can be used to grow local economies, but they are also a contested goal by those hiding in the state. There should be a collective awareness of the importance of protecting these resources from external exploitation. Sustainable development requires extracting these resources in a way that benefits the Sudanese while preserving the country's interests.
🔴 The rebellion of the Janjaweed forces poses a real threat to the unity and stability of Sudan, as they seek to fragment the country and disperse its population. Hostilities and irresponsible actions are major factors that contribute to fueling internal conflicts. These challenges negatively affect the stability of the economy and make it difficult to achieve sustainable development.
🔴 There must be a comprehensive national response to reduce these threats, in order to strengthen security and stability in all regions. Building a cohesive society requires combining different approaches to overcome the effects of this rebellion.
Current conditions in Sudan require an urgent need to distinguish between friend and foe.
🔴Awareness of the origins and motivations of the actions of different powers can help protect national interests. Citizens and civil society must work together to prioritize this fight. It is necessary to create solidarity networks between different groups to improve the country's capacity to meet challenges. This will enable Sudan to build strategic alliances that will strengthen its position in the face of international challenges.
🔴Raising national awareness requires effective strategies aimed at educating young people and society at large about the dangers of conspiracy. Emphasis must be placed on education, the promotion of a culture of belonging and participation in national activities.
🔴 Also, the unity of the ranks should be strengthened and the role of civil society in monitoring crucial activities should be activated. Through the initiatives of community organizations, social awareness can be strengthened and support for national issues can be provided. Joint action is the way to prevent conspiratorial forces from losing opportunities.
