Khartoum Governor Orders Urgent Support for Gezira State Immigrants Who Survived Rebel Militia Massacres

The Governor of Khartoum, Mr. Ahmed Othman Hamza, confirmed that Khartoum State is working on several axes to provide assistance to citizens of the island who survived the massacres of terrorist militias and who continue to arrive in large numbers in Khartoum State. that the kindness of the people of the island will remain a debt to us in gratitude for the welcome they gave to the people of Khartoum State at the outbreak of the war.

This happened during his visit today to the headquarters of the Humanitarian Aid Commission, in the presence of the Minister of Social Development, Siddiq Freni, the Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism, Al-Tayeb Saad Al-Din, and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Khaled Abdel-Rahim.

The governor ordered that all citizens of the island who had not previously received support be provided with urgent support during this day in recognition of their suffering which continued for several days in the journey to escape violations of the militia who looted all their property. The governor said the state's responsibilities in providing food assistance are constantly multiplying due to the increasing number of returnees and arrivals from the states, the governor welcomed the contributions of the states and organizations, but also the current situation and the resulting war conditions. many, losing their sources of income, need solidarity to help citizens.
