Al Jazeera must return to Madani – slowly – ✍️ Khaled Muhammad Al-Baqir

⭕From the land of the island, life breathed life and good things flowed from the products of its virgin and generous land. The history of Madani Island tells a rich story, full of natural resources and ancient traditions. But unfortunately, the brutal and aggressive Rapid Support (Janjaweed) forces came into their hands, corrupting the lives of the Sudanese with rape and abuse. These attacks had negative consequences on the population, terrorized and forced the Sudanese citizen to leave their land.
⭕ We need to talk about the importance of returning to Madani Island to restore hope and a future to its afflicted population.
Medani Island is considered one of the regions rich in natural resources, as it represented an important center for agriculture and trade. For many years, the island's inhabitants worked diligently to exploit its riches. Through exploration and cultivation, the island produced distinctive cultures that strengthened its position in the Sudanese economy. However, these resources were affected after the entry of aggressive forces, which transformed Madani Island from a place of prosperity into a disaster zone. There is a need to rehabilitate the island to ensure the restoration of these resources.
⭕ The violations committed by the Janjaweed forces have caused the disintegration of the local community on Madani Island. The population was affected by looting, which caused many families to lose their basic resources. These actions had profound psychological and social consequences, as many residents began to live in constant fear and loss of life and stability. It is clear that the repercussions of these violations still constitute a major challenge for the population who suffered throughout this period. Real change is needed to rebuild the local community.
⭕ The suffering faced by the people of Madani Island is only part of the larger picture of the suffering of the Sudanese people. After losing basic resources and assets, they are in dire need of support and humanitarian attention. Citizens dream of improving their situation and regaining their dignity, but they face many obstacles. The lack of basic resources has affected their daily lives and the development of their future. Restoring the island therefore requires collective efforts and lasting alliances.
We cannot forget the role of the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the freedom and dignity of the island. These heroes gave their lives for the resistance and for the cause, and we must remember them and value their value in society. By commemorating these martyrs, the spirit of belonging and unity can be strengthened among the population. The sacrifice of the martyrs constitutes an incentive to bring the island city back into the arms of the homeland. This memory must remain alive in the hearts of future generations.
⭕ Restoring the island requires unifying national efforts from all segments of society. There must be effective cooperation between the security services and the population in the reform process of their country.
This initiative will contribute to achieving the desired security and peace. The strength of national determination and motivation will determine the success of this mission. If we unite, Madani Island will return to what it was, a place of peace and progress.
