The sources indicated that Al-Faki and others were killed yesterday morning, Sunday, in the fighting led by the Sudanese army (Mutawail Al-Sayyad) against the militia in eastern Umm Rawaba. The sources confirmed that the success of the Sudanese Air Force in accurately hitting targets disrupted the militia's planning and achieved great success in all its sorties carried out in the morning and evening of Monday 2 December 2024.

In the same context, sources confirmed that militia leader Ismail Hussein was injured in the legs during yesterday's Sunday fighting with Adam Al-Faki and the other officers, but he miraculously escaped death.

While there were conflicting reports on whether Hussein Barshim was injured or killed, even though he was on the battlefield during the airstrikes on militia vehicles, the sources confirmed the panic and confusion of the militia in the neighborhoods of Umm Rawaba, possibly confirming the injury or killing of Barshim, as well as the officers and soldiers who were with him among the militia.
