Professor Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, Governor of White Nile State, this afternoon inaugurated at the State Medical Supplies Fund the project to provide oxygen, medicines and medical aids to the different programs and cold chain for medicines and serums in the state, which was implemented through the Sudanese Red Crescent Society and with the appreciated support of international organizations in the state, following the flow of this aid to the state from the Federal Ministry of Health, after the opening of the Sennar road with the town of Rabak, and with careful and diligent monitoring by the state governor

It was in the presence of Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Minister of Health and Social Development in charge of the State, Engineer Al-Tayeb Mohamed Al-Hassan, Acting Minister of Infrastructure and of Urban Development, Mr. Hammad Abdullah Musa. , the director of the local government office, Mr. Al-Sadiq Mohamed Othman, the executive director of Rabak locality, as well as a group of departments of the Ministry of Health and representatives of relevant organizations and bodies.

The White Nile Governor praised the great support of the Federal Ministry of Health in the provision of medicines and medical equipment, stressing that his government continues to implement its plan to improve medical, diagnostic and therapeutic services provided to citizens of the state and those arriving from war-affected states, expressing thanks to the Sudanese Red Crescent Society and international organizations for their support to the health sector and workers for bearing the burden of providing services to citizens, in particular during the war period, and for their appreciated efforts in reducing the watery diarrhea witnessed by the State, as well as for His Excellency extended a vote of thanks to the various media for reflecting the health issues, the battle for dignity and the issues that concern the State in all areas.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Minister of Health and Social Development in charge of White Nile, said that this inaugurated equipment is an extension of the series of continuous support from the federal government and international organizations with the aim of localizing the treatment within the state, adding that the state has received more than one hundred tons of various emergency drugs, global support and anesthesia drugs, surgical medical devices and equipment for major teaching hospitals, as well as supply equipment of oxygen, which contain four hundred and forty little ones. cylinders and fifty large cylinders, supports and devices. The cylinders, which represent a complement to the work of the oxygen plant in Kosti, which was implemented by the state government and contributed to solving the oxygen supply in the state and neighboring states , he stressed, underlined the stability of the White Nile in the country. The health sector is the result of the appreciated support of the state government, the Federal Ministry of Health and organizations that have played a clear role in the provision of medical aid in the state.

In the same context, the Director of State Medical Supplies, Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Baqi, Director of the State Medical Supplies Fund, said that the stability of drug supply witnessed by the state is due to the federal support and interest of the state government in the abundance of medicines and meeting the real needs of citizens for medicines, noting that his administration received large quantities of medicines after the opening of the route of Sennar, intravenous solutions and work aids at the department level of tuberculosis, anti-malaria drugs, and oncological drug actions, in addition to eight thousand washes and one thousand five hundred gallons of renal solution, and are considered the medical aids which It was launched today and represents a qualitative complement to the support of the health sector in the area of ​​the abundance of medicines, oxygen supplies and storage aids.
