Professor Kamal Abdul Qadir Hamid, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Voluntary Return of Sennar State, said that the delegation of returnees to Sennar State found acceptance and satisfaction among those returning home, commending the efforts of the Zakat Office in Sennar State for its (30) buses to send the displaced persons from Sennar State to the safe localities of Sennar, East Sennar and Al-Dindar) added that the number of returnees is estimated at around 1,800.
The head of the Voluntary Return Committee emphasized that the number of those wishing to return to Sennar has increased, appreciating the efforts of the Implementation Director of Gedaref Municipality in contributing to the provision of fuel for buses. He also thanked the Nebras initiative. Gedaref State Charity for providing a meal for all planned trips to Sennar State.
Kamal said the committee is awaiting the decision of the state government to limit and distribute people returning to Sinja villages and town and the rest of other towns in the state.
For his part, Dr. Majid Abdel Hakam Ahmed, Director of Unified Collections at the Ministry of Finance, warned that Sinja City is safe and workers from Sinja City will start working in government institutions next Sunday. December salaries will be paid to workers in Sinnar State at the beginning of December, God willing, calling on all citizens to return home.
