Nile State Government Congratulates Sudan Police on Seventieth Anniversary, Appreciates Their Heroic Role
The Nile State Government, led by Governor, Dr. Muhammad al-Badawi Abdul Majid Abu Qarun, has congratulated the leadership and personnel of the Sudan Police and State Police on the occasion of its sixty -tenth anniversary.
The official spokesperson of the State Government, *`Deputy Governor`*, Mr. *Mustafa Muhammad Othman Al-Sharif*, confirmed today in a press release that the Sudanese Police have taken positions honorable alongside the armed forces and other regular agencies in the face of the plan to swallow up Sudan.
The *`Vice Governor`* appreciated the great role played by the Nile State Police, who are aware of their role and mission in these historic circumstances and continued to carry out all civil support work while throughout the war period and to support the armed forces through Al-Karama Movements and organized courses of urban warfare, weapons support and security campaigns. Intensive preventive work in all localities, welcoming the efforts of the State Police Committee to support and sustain injured people with dignity.
His Excellency praised the achievements of the State Investigation Department, which made a significant contribution to the fight against drugs, the recovery of looted items, the fight against negative phenomena, the pursuit of stragglers and habitual criminals, as well as the control and monitoring of those who collaborate with the rebel militia and its sleeper cells.
The *official spokesperson* also welcomed the decisive measures taken by the police to control the illegal foreign presence in the state, stressing that these are necessary measures to protect national identity and maintain security and stability, highlighting the growing interest of the state government under the leadership of the Governor and support for all programs aimed at developing the police so that it can move forward in achieving more achievements in all forums and areas.
His Sovereignty took pity on the martyrs of the Battle of Karama, calling for a speedy recovery of the wounded and injured, and for a united victory of the armed forces on all battle fronts, a victory of God and a near conquest.
