Executive Director of Shindi locality Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh said that Sudan's advancement in international sports forums begins with the establishment of Sunni sports schools and academies, as they are capable of building a generation that carries the banner of victories according to correct standards and scientific foundations.

Abdul Ghaffar added, addressing the Martyrs of Dignity tournament for Sunni schools and academies, which concluded its activities at the Obour stadium in Al-Musikatab, north of Shendi, that he kicked off for a correct and solid start to football.

He said Islam draws attention to sports in its various forms. Teach your children swimming, archery and horse riding, and these sports are among the most important sports today, except for the Olympics.

He stressed that the strong political, military, executive and popular presence participating in the closing event of the Battle Martyrs' Course for Sunni sports schools and academies confirms this interest in the issue of youth and juniors, and the creation of a high-tech stadium. The specifications confirm that sport in Shendi is moving in the right direction.

In Shindi, Police Colonel Khojali, Sir Al-Khatm and a number of leaders attended the conclusion of the Martyrs of Dignity course for Sunni schools. And the sports academies organized by the Shindi General Administration of Youth and Sports, in which more than ten teams participated, and the championship cup was won by the Obour team from Misikatab.
