A first step with yourself, written by Dr. Qamar Al Anbiya Amara (psychiatrist)

Soul has more than one meaning in language, including whether it refers to spirit, blood, or body. Idris Jamaa says:

You are truly human and so am I

Between our hearts there is a year of love

Everyday photos from across the road

The soul is filled with it then wakes up

What shook you wasn't a passing feeling

It's a feeling deep in the chest

Humanity has arrived

Your whole soul is in close connection

It is therefore the soul that scholars and poets are unable to define and understand its essence. So it is not strange that this is the case.

One of the biggest challenges the average person faces in their life is trying to understand themselves. It's a complex process that has sparked the curiosity of researchers throughout the ages, and each day things are revealed little by little, allowing us to know more. you yourselves who are between us… is it something like (and in you, will you not see it)… or something else Of the words of the poet?

Equip yourself with hopes and watch them

Life would be difficult without the space of hope

She circled the untouched earth, looking at the world with joy and joy.

Or is this something someone else said?

It's the soul. Hopes and pleasures are only misfortunes.

She suffered, fell ill, and sought healing.

It is therefore important first to know what the self is, or self-identity, or the structure of the self, which is known (in general) as the sum of ideas and beliefs concerning the self according to Mary Socrates in his definition of the self. self: It is a mixture of the personal abilities and faculties of a person, and this is linked to his capacity for analysis and logical construction, and that the self It is consciousness and sensory perception, and recently, in the context of attempts to understand the self psychology school has appeared recently, and we still hear and will hear in the future a lot about the self and how to deal with it and find methods and treatments which alleviates his troubles…

From all of the above, it becomes clear to us that psychologists are trying to find concepts, values and tests that would help us understand some of the misconceptions we have about the problems that afflict us, and improve the quality of our lives and our perceptions of the world and the environment around us, to help us live a balanced life, at least if not happy.

Mental illness is one of the topics that most causes people to adopt unrealistic and unrealistic perceptions about it. No society, whether rich or poor, can avoid falling into these misconceptions. For example, when poverty is widespread in a society, that society is larger. vulnerable than others to adopting these ideas and illusions about what mental illness is and how to treat it. This society also contributes, through its weak perception and its limited horizon, to weaving ideas and perceptions on the nature of what it does not know, and as they say, man is the enemy of what 'he doesn't know, so the main thing is associating mental illness with stigma, which in turn contributes to increasing the suffering of patients and the deterioration of their condition… I remember a patient visited us at the hospital where I worked and suffered from schizophrenia. legs for almost three years. He ate, drank and slept in the same place. When we asked him about his father, he didn't know what to answer, and when we asked him about his sister, he said, “That's it.” the devil's female dog. Β» This patient began to recover two weeks after starting treatment, and he recognized his father and me. If his family had been aware of the importance and effectiveness of psychiatric treatment, they would not have subjected him to torment, swallowing pain and enduring all this suffering. Likewise, psychiatry is not spared from the stigmatization of educated societies and of good social status, because some of them fear that a member of their family may be suffering from mental illness, so that their image or their status within the society in which they live is not respected. shaken.

It is therefore necessary to disseminate the awareness and culture of psychiatry on a large scale, and it is necessary that those who work in the field of mental health, more than others, try to clarify people's misconceptions and try to lay the foundations and plans that will allow each member of society to live a normal and healthy life with its three axes: body, soul and spirit. Although there are many definitions of these axes, as mentioned before, there is someone who says that the body is the body. the body and the soul are the mind and the heart, but the knowledge of the soul belongs to God alone. (They ask you about the soul. Say: β€œThe soul comes from the commandment of my Lord, and it has not been given to you to do so. little knowledge.”

Whatever the definitions, it remains constant that a person must take care of their body, their soul and their spirit… despite the difficulty sometimes of knowing the needs of each department separately. So you find me impressed by the psychiatrist's saying: “Sew up the wounds you cannot see”, a phrase which carries with it a deep feeling and positive sympathy for the patient and a desire to save him from pain. Mental illnesses actually require precise sensitivity, more precise information and careful attention. complete understanding of each case so that the doctor can diagnose and prescribe the appropriate treatment so that the soul, God willing, can return to its previous state, free from all the distress and misery that has befallen it.

It is therefore an inner journey, despite its ambiguity and sometimes its pain, it is pleasant and charming if one knows how to begin it to discover it and rid it of the impurities and troubles attached to it, then decide when and how be happy about it.
