The defeat of the militias was not limited to their chaotic flight from the battlefield, but was also accompanied by the death, wounding and capture of hundreds of their members, as well as the loss of all their positions in the east direction, in addition to numerous vehicles and combat vehicles. .
The symbolism of this victory was embodied in the capture of the vehicle of militiaman Ali Yaqoub, the leader of the attack, in good condition after his escape. This rebel, who led the failed attack on the town of Melit months ago, had no vehicle. escaping defeat but fleeing, leaving the vehicle behind as a trophy for our valiant forces.
The manner in which the militias attacked El Fasher showed that they had not learned lessons from the past, as they relied on old tactics that had proven to fail in the past, such as indiscriminate attacks on civilians. and the burning of institutions. managed to break the will of our people and thwart our plans with their outdated methods.
