Director of the Shindi Youth and Sports Department, Muzammil Sayed Ahmed Abdel Rahman, said during his meeting with the council delegation in the presence of Tariq Abdel Jalil, Director of the Shindi Youth Center, that the work of the department relies primarily on capacity building. of young people and implement programs according to talents and desires, according to the capacities of the administration and its ability to implement these programs in the fields of youth and sports.
He said the administration has implemented numerous transformative training programs for the youth in various fields in IT, Aeronautical Science, Customs Clearance, Nursing, Languages, Training of Trainers (TOT) and others.
The Director of the Department of Youth and Sports spoke about the partnerships the department has entered into with academic institutions such as Shendi University and the College of Technology affiliated to the Sudan Technical University to introduce more novelties in the transformative training, particularly in the area of vocational training. training and market demands for electronic maintenance, automatic car inspection, etc.
In the sports field, there are many types of sports introduced by the administration, such as skiing, taekendo, karate and gymnastics, in addition to basketball and volleyball.
In football, there is a council of Sunni sports schools and academies to train players meeting international standards and specifications and to organize numerous football courses.
The Vice Chairman of the Abyei Nile and River Dinka Affairs Council praised this excellent work and effort undertaken by the Youth and Sports Administration in Shinde and said that the youth of Abyei should benefit from these programs in the areas of youth and sports, and that there must be coordination between the Youth Administration and the Abyei Council, especially since the presidency of the Abyei On the Nile Council, its headquarters is in Shendi and not in Al-Damer or Atbara.
The Abyei Council sports official highlighted the talents enjoyed by the youth of Abyei, particularly in athletics, volleyball, basketball and football, and that the last tournament, which concluded at the Nile Stadium in Shindi, in the presence of sports director Muzamil Sayed Ahmed, revealed these talents.
