After a feverish competition and with the participation of more than 300 photographic works. The Sudanese Cybling Telephone Society (Zain) announces the names of the winners during the first session of the photography competition (the story of an image and a hope)

The Sudanese Company for the Crier – Zain – Concluded the Works of A picture of a picture and amal that the company launched last may through its digital platforms, in an effort to shef light on the effects of the war in Sudan, and Highlight aspects of Hope and Human Solidarity Amid This Harsh Reality, in Addition to encourage young people to produce positive visual content that reflects the bright face of Sudan, and enriches the internet with pictures that bear technical value and strong societal messages.
Photographer Abdel -Rahman Abdel Moneim Mustafa crowned his first place for his work “who searched and arrived”, while Muayyad Tariq Mustafa won second place for his work as a “seat for science and the refuge”, and came in third place, the photographer Osama Ibrahim Abdel Rahman, with his work “Joan Amal”. These works were chosen after being nominated by a specialized jury which included an elite of the most eminent photographers and experts led by Dr. Bakri Al -hadi, and the members of Professor Muhammad Nour El -Din and Professor Musab Al -IMam, then the qualified works were subjected to the massive voting scene through the pages of Zain on the social media, when he was exceptional interaction of one million people.
The first winner won a financial prize of five million Sudanese pounds, while the second place holder won three million, while the third holder received a prize of two million Sudanese pounds.
In a declaration to the head of the jury, Dr. Bakri Al -hadi, he explained that competition was a real model of what simple creativity can offer in times of crisis, noting that the majority of participants were characterized by a high technical quality and an honest spirit which transmits reality without cost. He added that this initiative opens the door to young Sudanese to provide an alternative visual narration on dominant tragic stories and establish a new path to document the current Sudanese moment, far from rumors and frustrated content that swept the digital space during the last period.
Professor Salah Fadlallah of Zain Company confirmed that the launch of the competition comes from the deep belief of the company in the positive role of content manufacturers, in particular in the light of war, where an image can tell a story, inspire a community and cultivate hope at a time of glory. He also pointed out that competition had succeeded in attracting articles by professionals and amateurs, and that the great public response reflects the thirst for visual content of the Sudanese public, resulting from reality, but is saturated with a spirit of challenge, dignity and optimism.
At the end of the competition, the company thanked all the participants and subscribers, the arbitration committee and all the media and influential people who contributed to the dissemination of the initiative and to keep the pace of its stages, stressing that this first session is only the beginning of a long way of initiatives aimed at allowing young people to document their stories and to give them a platform that reflects their true image and the image of Sudan.
