After China – Signs – ✍️ Rashid Abdul Rahim

During the current visit of President Al-Burhan and his delegation to China, many high-value agreements in important fields were signed.

The fear is that these important achievements will be carried out in the same way as previous agreements with many countries and entities, which ended up in files, papers and folders in the corridors of international cooperation of the Ministry of Finance.

Disruptions and delays in the implementation of agreements lead to many complications, the most dangerous of which is that our country is perceived as unserious and careless.

Failure to implement it is a waste of precious time for our country, our institutions and our people.

After the war, we will no longer have the luxury of hesitation, delay or falling into the clutches of government routine, so that agreements turn into employee trips that serve no purpose other than wasting scarce non-Sudanese foreign currency in petty cash.

Starting immediately to implement what we have agreed with China allows us to take important steps such as starting to reach agreements on urgent issues such as resolving the war through rapid arms deals and confronting the plots hatched within international organizations that actually began two days ago.

Our needs go beyond cooperation with China alone, despite its importance and despite the positive interaction and honorable reception, which were clearly demonstrated during President Al-Burhan's visit.

We need a similar breakthrough in our relations with Russia to further secure the demands of the war and our relations with the UN and the Security Council.

China and Russia are willing, organized and serious countries in their bilateral relations.

We will not learn any lessons from war if we do not use opportunities, time and relationships wisely.
