The director of the General Administration of Education in the locality of Atbara, Adel Hamadtu, revealed in statements reported by the media office that there is no truth in what is reported in the media on the closure of schools in Atbara and all educational establishments which begin their work and receive their students as usual.
This came after protests targeted Atbara airport at dawn on Monday, and the administration reassured parents and confirmed that school would proceed as usual.
