Al-Burhan arrives in Sennar to inspect security situation and provide support to armed forces

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General *Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan* arrived today in the city of Sennar and was received by the Acting Governor of Sennar State, Muhammad Ali Abdullah, the Commander of the Blue Nile Military Region, and the Commander of the Sennar Front, Major General Dr. Rabei Abdullah, the heads of the regular state agencies and a group of citizens.
His Excellency received detailed clarification on the operational situation in the sector and the preparedness of the armed forces, other regular agencies and those mobilized in the popular resistance to repel any attempts by the enemy to destabilize security and the stability of the State of Sennar.
His Excellency inspected the defense lines before Sennar and determined that they were ready to defeat the Rapid Support Terrorist Militia rebels.
Al-Burhan praised the heroic performance provided by the heroes of the armed forces and regular forces in defeating the militia.
His Excellency inspected the wounded and victims of the Battle of Karama, both regulars and citizens, at the Al-Kifah Specialized Hospital in the city of Sennar.
