Al-Burhan's assassination, attempts to add water to oil ✍️ Ali Al-Fateh Al-Zubair
Assassination is a term (according to the common definition)
It is used to describe an organized and deliberate assassination operation that targets a prominent person with intellectual, political, military, leadership, or religious influence. The basis of the assassination operation is usually ideological, political, economic, or revenge motives targeting a specific person whom the organizers of the assassination operation consider to be an obstacle to the wider dissemination of their ideas or goals.
The size of the organization organizing the assassination varies from a single person to giant institutions and governments, and there is no consensus on the use of the term assassination. What those sympathetic to the victim consider an assassination may be considered by the organization organizing it as a heroic act.
The modern era has witnessed 5 assassinations of presidents (on air), including two Arabs.
We ask you to allow us to review them in this article, the most important of which is an assassination.
Egyptian President Mohamed Anwar Sadat:
(1) The assassination of “Sadat” or the “Platform” incident took place during a military parade held in Nasr City in Cairo on October 6, 1981 to celebrate the victory achieved in the October War of 1973.
The military parade began and President Sadat was seated, and to his right was his deputy, Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, then the Omani minister Shabib bin Taimur, envoy of Sultan Qaboos, and to his left Field Marshal Abdel Halim Abu Ghazaleh, Minister of Defense, then Sayyid Marhi, then Abdel Rahman Bissar, then Sheikh of Al-Azhar. Those present were watching the spectacle with pleasure, and the commander of the artillery column came forward to salute the platform, and a number of motorcyclists surrounded. Suddenly, one of the bikes stopped after suffering a sudden malfunction, and its commander got off and began to push it in front of him, but soon his foot slipped and he fell to the ground, with the bike on top of him. so a soldier who was standing intervened next to the platform and treated him with some water.
When Khaled Al-Islambouli's car stopped, everyone thought it had broken down, just as the motorcycle had broken down. The car was completely in front of the scene, and within moments, sniper Hussein Abbas stopped and fired a series of bullets that shot. settled into Sadat's neck, while Khaled Al-Islambouli shouted to the driver, ordering him to stop, and he quickly got out of the car, threw a bomb, then came back and took the driver's machine gun and flew quickly towards the platform. Sadat stood up after being shot in the neck, screaming, while all the participants disappeared under their chairs, and under the smoke screen, Al-Islambouli directed a new series of bullets at Sadat's chest, at the same time as Atta Tayel threw a second bomb at him, which did not reach the stage and did not explode, and Abdel Hamid threw a third bomb, which he forgot to defuse, so that it hit the first row and did not explode either.
Then the three of them jumped up, aiming their guns at the president, and they clung to the podium, raining bullets down on him, while Al-Islambouli's voice rose, confirming that they were referring to no one except Sadat.
Then they started running around randomly, chased by various security forces, shooting, and Al-Islambouli was subsequently sentenced to death by firing squad in April 1982.

The observer and follower of Sudanese affairs can almost come to the certainty that what happened and is happening in Sudan is not devoid of regional and international tensions, which would have a direct and indirect impact (via the agency), in order to stop the official opinion and draw lines that cannot escape. For their part, to defend the interests of the parties that supported this rebellion, to support those who do not fear poverty, they did everything in their power to buy people, agents and weapons. , and mercenaries, to achieve their goal, which they have not achieved and will not achieve as long as there are noble and rational people and a distressed people. He lost everything, and nothing remained except his pride, nobility and dignity. The blood of his forces and martyrs has extinguished every inch soiled by the Tatar hordes of the third millennium, which have dried up all the values of mercy, chivalry, humanity and manhood… and the teachings of all heavenly religions, which called for the preservation of life, honor and money…
The masses of the Sudanese people, their institutions and their leaders have not chosen and will not choose a path that would divide them. On the contrary, they are all equal, like a solid structure, behind their leadership, which they are convinced they will not abandon any more. a person, an honor, a pride or the homeland…
Despite what we do not know about the identity of the party that planned the assassination attempt on Lieutenant General Al-Burhan and its objective, we remain united in the face of all attempts that could inflame and divert the existing and anticipated dispute of the enemies of the homeland and the complexity of the Sudanese scene, more than it is…
We give them good news: This failed assassination attempt has resulted in greater alignment behind the leadership and has healed many of the divisions among those calling for an end to the war or its continuation, in their certainty that targeting Burhan at this critical moment means targeting Burhan. “For all internal, regional and international efforts to end the suffering of the Sudanese people…
The aspiration and goal of the Sudanese citizen:
Peace,,,, my dear,, restores the dignity and pride of this proud people..
Or a fierce war whose fuel would be all the young and old of our wounded nation.
Popular resistance, which has become a “lived” reality and a current practice, is only a witness to this transformation that war eliminates and preserves peace.
The life or death of any one of us, any individual or any leader, does not take us away from the path. Those of us who have died, been killed and been wounded will not return, even if peace is granted…
