A few days ago, the locality, with all its apparatus, was leading the battle to confront the flood disasters and provide relief to the victims. It managed to do so with distinction and reached all the victims with the required speed, seeking help from its residents. These are partners of the Security Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, the Popular Resistance, the Red Crescent, Health, the Zakat Office, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, humanitarian organizations and education services, in addition to the charitable people of the locality who contributed money or volunteered in person. Then, the immediate and rapid response continued from the locality to the current and current events, and by this I mean the health conditions that followed the floods, especially the disease (cholera), which is a natural consequence after this large and massive amount of floods and rains. Once again, the local administration of Al-Dabbah was on time. In fact, it can be said that it was one step ahead of the epidemic, starting with the inauguration of a significant number of trash cans. trucks and trucks to enter the service and inside the neighborhoods to collect waste, which could constitute an environment in which disease vectors multiply. This step came at exactly the right time. Then came the inauguration of the great campaign to combat the cholera epidemic. This campaign had all the financial and human capacities available, since the participation of the Ministry of Health of the State with all its capacities, the most important being the availability of medicines. against cholera free of charge and available in the warehouses of the Ministry of Health, and it should be noted that an active partner of the locality is the Chamber of Commerce which has remained at the forefront of all service operations carried out by the locality. the locality, in addition to the health department, the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, the security committee of the locality and other unknown military personnel that we have not mentioned and who contributed to this great work. The aim of the campaign was to contain the disease. with all possible health precautionary measures. So that it does not get out of control, especially after having counted some cases, but they are few and limited, and they have been isolated and all therapeutic aids have been provided. she has.

On the ground, the campaign aimed to collect waste and combat disease vectors by spraying pesticides, filling ponds and sterilizing drinking water with chlorine, which helped reassure citizens that the health situation is safe and under control.
