Al-Dabba receives the new electrical transformer with a capacity of one hundred megavoltampers (100 MVA)

Today, Friday, October 18, an electrical transformer with a capacity of one hundred megavolt amperes (100 MVA) arrived to increase the capacity of the Al-Dabbah transformer station from 40 to 100, in the presence of the executive director of the locality of Al-Dabbah. , Mr. Muhammad Saber, the Chamber of Commerce and Popular Resistance of the locality of Al-Dabbah, as well as a number of engineers and people from the region.

For his part, Mr. Muhammad Saber, Executive Director of Al-Dabbah locality, explained that this electrical transformer will solve the problems of Al-Dabbah locality in the field of electricity supply and its stability. He thanked everyone who contributed to its completion. of this work, led by the Sovereignty Council, the Governor of the Northern State, the Council of Ministers of the Government of the Northern State and the Federal Ministry of Electricity with all its branches and departments, the House of Al-Dabbah trade. locality, Mr. Azhari Al-Mubarak, leader of the Popular Resistance, and Mr. Al-Noura Ibrahim for his appreciated efforts to make the project a success.

Engineer/Mohamed Mukhtar Khalil Bishara, Director of Al-Dabbah Transformer Station, today confirmed the arrival of the new transformer for Al-Dabbah Power Station from Port Sudan City . This transformer is considered a great addition to the Al-Dabbah. The Dabbah transformer station, which operated with two transformers with a capacity of 40 MVA each, added that this transformer would solve many of the pressure problems suffered by the transformer station in the locality of Al-Dabba and the one of the two. The transformers will be replaced with the new transformer, which is an addition to the capacity of the station and its ability to cope with the increase in growing electricity consumption in several areas, including urban, industrial and agricultural areas. It will provide the opportunity to. launch new projects, especially in the agricultural sector, which will contribute to the development of the locality and the state and will also help support the industrial sector.

He said they would start dismantling one of the transformers and the installation of the new transformer would begin tomorrow, God willing, and it would take five to seven days.

Mr. Al-Nour Ibrahim, representative of the Chamber of Commerce of the locality of Al-Dabbah, also spoke, expressing his joy at the arrival of this transformer. He thanked the Sovereignty Council for its interest in this vital and important project. the executive director for his great effort in this project, which required a trip to Port Sudan to carry it out, especially since Al-Dabbah is a large locality which developed considerably after the war.
