Farmers in the Jazeera project in Al-Mansi section, Aais channel, expected that the productivity of an acre of corn would increase between twenty and forty bags for peanut cultivation, and that harvesting operations would begin after forty days, as provided for in the project. The Governor of Jazeera State, Mr. Al-Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, revealed during his visit to Al-Mansi section, Ais channel, accompanied by Major General of Police Abdullah Ali Ahmed, the Director of State Police, Major General Emad Al. -Din Sayed Ahmed, Director of the General Intelligence Service of Al-Jazeera State, and members of the State Security Committee, expressed the state's keenness to cultivate winter crops, especially wheat, stressing that wheat cultivation is a weapon of modern colonialism, the knees of the people and the negative of their will.
