Nile Governor Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed said all state capabilities and resources were being mobilized to support the armed forces until the rebellion is suppressed and the militias and those supporting it are eliminated at home and abroad.
While the governor was addressing the crowd of guests at the wedding ceremony of the leader's son and popular civil leader, Abdullah Muhammad Othman, at Al-Masikitab, north of Shendi, he said the state does not saves no money except for service in the armed forces, and that whatever he has can be used to buy weapons if necessary.
He revealed that there is a great tendency to possess advanced weapons, in quality and quantity, to accomplish the mission.
In response to public chants demanding arming, the governor announced that there are weapons available that help strengthen the defense and strengthen the attack against the enemy.
