Anti-smuggling operation in River Nile State seizes 3 vehicles carrying 60 packages of human medicines

The Nile State anti-smuggling forces were able to seize three vehicles, two of which were carrying 60 packages of various human medicines, and a carton carrying intruders in possession of a Clash weapon and a Thuraya device.

Mr. Lieutenant General Adam Al-Nour, Director General of the Customs Forces, praised the control efforts that continued to fulfill all security roles and protect the national economy.

Major General Yasser Siddiq Mohamed Ahmed, Acting Deputy Director General for Anti-Smuggling, welcomed this qualitative seizure, explaining that smuggling of medicines poses a danger to the lives of citizens as they enter the country without meeting the requirements issued by the Ministry of Health and the Pharmacy and Poisons Law.

Brigadier General Adam Omar Sabeel, director of the Nile State Control Department, said his forces were fully prepared to confront all smugglers and their collaborators, secure society and protect the national economy.
