Arrangements to restore health insurance service in Umm Rawaba hospitals
The joint meeting between the Health Insurance Administration, North Kordofan branch and the executive director of Umm Rawaba locality discussed the mechanism for restoring medical services in the locality.
The Director of the National Health Insurance Fund of the North Kordofan State Branch, Dr. Khattab Al-Samani, explained the plan of the branch management to restore the medical service in hospitals so that citizens can benefit from integrated health insurance services, referring to the obstacles facing the restoration in Wad Ashana Hospital, Sharkila Hospital, Namlah Center and Kendwa Um Zoghi Center, indicating the readiness of health insurance for the expansion of service delivery points in the region.
The Executive Director of Umm Rawaba Locality, Mr. Ibrahim Yousef, appreciated the role of health insurance in the locality and the provision of its services despite the complex circumstances the country is going through and the challenges facing service delivery, which contributed to the stability of the health situation at the local level.
He stressed the need to restore the medical service in the rural administration of the center of Umm Rawaba, which serves two-thirds of the locality and the presence of a large number of expatriate families, and to work to overcome all obstacles and intervene to restore the medical service in Wad Ashana Hospital. He said that we rely heavily on health insurance to expand the centers and install and develop the medical service in the locality.
During the meeting, a detailed report was presented on the situation of population coverage and medical service in the locality.
