As a commitment to social responsibility, “Sudani” provides assistance to people affected by torrents and rains in the northern state
As a continuation of the emergency humanitarian response program for people affected by floods and rains, and based on its commitment to social responsibility, the telecommunications company “Sudani” has provided valuable assistance to the citizens of Merowe and Wadi Halfa localities in the Northern State.
Sudanese aid in the Marawi locality included the areas of “Tanqasi al-Souq, Goz Qarafi in al-Qarir, Masawi and Ousli”, where it provided them with supplies such as “tents and containers for storing drinking water”, in response to the demand of the affected people.
“Sudani” examined the extent of the damage caused to citizens by the torrential rains.
The Sudanese delegation received a warm welcome from the executive director of Merowe locality, citizens and community committees.
In the locality of Halfa, “Sudani” provided aid in the “Sarkumto” area, consisting of “building materials” to rehabilitate houses damaged by torrents and rains, in a safe and more sustainable manner, in response to the demand of the affected people in the area.
Will and determination are the hallmark of corporate social responsibility and the “Sudanese” volunteers who have made an appreciated contribution, efforts and active participation in all programs to achieve the desired goal.
This step is part of the concerns of the senior management regarding the challenges of the nation and the citizen and the resolution of obstacles and problems encountered during disasters and crises.
