The locality of Shendi once again welcomed displaced families from the east of the island displaced by the Rapid Support Forces. These families are facing serious difficulties, having left their homes and land behind, in a context full of fear. Among these families, those who lost their relatives and neighbors lost everything except their hope of safety and protection. Upon their arrival, they touched the hearts of Shendi residents, accustomed to warm hospitality and solidarity with those in need.
In this context, the Aseel Group took the initiative to organize a convoy carrying food and essential supplies for the displaced. Under the supervision of the executive director of the locality of Shendi, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the leader wanted to emphasize that kindness towards good people will not stop. With the arrival of the Aseel Group convoy, residents of the city actively interacted with the arrivals, raising slogans of welcome and support.
🟢 This was not just a humanitarian duty, but rather an expression of the identity of Sudanese society anchored in solidarity and cooperation.
🟢 There was a clear consensus between the local community and official authorities, with Khaled Abdel Ghaffar emphasizing the commitment of all segments of society to provide relief. The presence of Colonel Mustafa Taj Al-Sir, head of the intelligence division of the 3rd Infantry Division, was a message reassuring the displaced that no one fights alone. He expressed his appreciation for the support and solidarity operations which touch the hearts of everyone and which have contributed to creating a climate of hope and cohesion.
Colonel Jibril Mudawi, Operations Commander, delivered a strong speech that the martyrs of dignity and pride will not be left behind nor their rights, emphasizing that their blood will not be in vain. He told stories of battles and emphasized that the victims of those battles deserved justice. He commented on the situation by saying: “We are in the battle for dignity and we will not forget the right of martyrs”, which increased the tension and enthusiasm of the public. This fiery speech strongly lifted the souls of the displaced and showed them that hope has not yet disappeared.
At the end of the day, engineer Muhammad Othman Hammad, general manager of the Aseel group, highlighted the continued support for expatriates. “We are ready to always be there for our families,” he said confidently. Aseel is not just a support group, but rather a symbol of national solidarity, as this work is from a perspective of duty and responsibility towards all members of the Sudanese people. Ultimately, these moments represented a true embodiment of the values of solidarity in the face of crises, and established the concept of a big family that leaves no one alone.
