At Eid.. The Janjaweed do not hesitate to whip God!!! – Budgets – ✍️ Al-Tayeb Al-Makabrabi
Al-Eidj is one of the villages in Al-Jazeera State that was no exception and was not spared from the horrors of the Janjaweed… says our famous media colleague Sharif Muhammad Al-Hassan , one of those that this village has enriched with Sudanese creativity… Last Thursday, the Janjaweed entered the Al-Eidj region and looted all the properties, and the entire town surrendered in Msid. Outside the village, merchants donated their goods and shepherds donated sheep. and set up a hospice. The Janjaweed followed them and took all the livestock and destroyed all the utensils in which the food was cooked. They destroyed water tanks and stole solar energy from water wells. They again looted the citizens and killed two of them. citizens. They beat the citizens with whips, and even the venerable sheikh, the village sheikh, was not spared. When one of the citizens said: “Here is our sheikh”, the Janjaweed replied: “Yes God.” he himself remains, we will whip him”!!!
They ordered citizens to leave the village with intimidation, insults and profanity, photographing them as they left and mocking them. The whole village left, and that moment, as some of them told me, felt like Judgment Day. women, children, the elderly and people with special needs and chronic illnesses. The people stopped in an area east of the village called Qabuja, and the militias caught up with them and terrorized them. Every time they went to a place, the militiamen caught up with them again, beating them with whips, terrorizing them with bullets. and plunder what they had not been able to plunder the first time.
The narrator says: We tried to evacuate the citizens, but the car owners refused to enter the area for any amount. An agreement was reached with the Ford truck owners to go only to Lud Abu Saleh, so we ordered the citizens to go there. on foot for three days and three nights, and some citizens died on the way before reaching Shendi. The militias also caught up with the citizens of Wad Abu Saleh and terrorized them again, but then a charitable person came and donated large transport vehicles with blankets and tarpaulins to protect the people from the cold and rain , because it was raining and the people were in the open, and while this vehicle was traveling, the Janjaweed caught up with it between Wad Abu Saleh and Wad Hassouna and brought down all the citizens, men and women. women, barefoot and without shoes, humiliating them and beating them with whips. , and they took the cart with its driver and its contents.
Eventually, and thank God, most people arrived in Shendi, and many of them suffered from diarrhea and vomiting due to long walking distances, lack of drinking water and heatstroke, and until 'Now around 20 citizens, including 4 children, are dead.
A camp was prepared on a Nile farm, donated by a citizen, as it has a water source, and trays were set up, which were not sufficient for the purpose, but, praise be to God, the whole country is in the same place. . They eat, drink, drink and sleep in the same place.
There are families who have not yet arrived in various areas of Umm Dawa Ban and Al-Takla, in the west of the region, as well as residents of Wadrawah.
…I contacted engineer Sharif Omar, one of the locals working in Nile State. He contributed greatly to his family's arrival in the Al-Makabrab region, south of Al-Damir. is currently suffering from a major diarrhea problem and cars are transporting citizens 24 hours a day to the Al-Damir isolation center. With the shortage of tents and toilets and the problem of overcrowding of families inside the tents, this problem of diarrhea has not stopped… Engineer Sharif thanked the health workers for their cooperation with the villagers and their commitment to stay. near them and establish an isolation center near the village if the situation requires it, but this is an indication of the lack of concern that has reached them so far.
These are some chapters of the fate experienced by the inhabitants of the village of Al-Aidj, located in the middle of the island and which is now part of northern Sudan.
After the assaults and militia attacks, the murders, the rapes and the terrorism, these are some of the thousands of stories and stories that have not yet been told, and which have happened and are still happening every day.
