The minister said during his inauguration the direct support of health insurance to the Gedaref State Dialysis Center, which includes 20 medical beds and 10 sofas, praising their previous support for carrying out 120 operations on the Vistula.
The minister highlighted the importance of health insurance and its role in stabilizing health and medical services in Sudan.
The minister revealed continued support for the Gedaref Laundry Center and all operating laundry centers, noting that the factory's needs are being met.
The minister emphasized that health insurance bears a great societal responsibility towards cardholders and people with chronic diseases, revealing that there are 690 categories within health insurance, emphasizing the continued work with the assurance to obtain the best for the citizen.
The minister pointed out that the availability of medicines was estimated at 60% before the war, which increases the burden on the state, the citizen and its supporters, describing as weak the capacity of the state to provide the necessary services to the citizen.
In this context, the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daim, expressed his effort to place medicines 100% under the cover of insurance, revealing his regular support to the Renal Center from Gedaref.
Farouk highlighted the importance of providing medical devices, equipment and consumables in addition to pharmaceutical supply, stressing that more efforts will be made to meet the needs of cardholders, especially in light of the circumstances the country is experiencing. .
