Bahr El Din Adam Karama takes oath before the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council as Governor of West Darfur State

Today, Mr. Bahr al-Din Adam Karama, Governor of West Darfur State, was sworn in before the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Ghali Ali Youssef, and the Head of the Red Sea State Judiciary, representing the Chief Justice.
In a press statement after his swearing-in, the Governor of West Darfur expressed his thanks to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council for the confidence he has placed in him, stressing his willingness to work with the Darfur Regional Government to establish security and stability and free the country from the filth of rebellion. He said: “I will be at the same distance from all components of the civil society of the state.”
The governor praised the role of the armed forces, the joint forces, the popular resistance and Mustafarin, their determination and their defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan in the battle of Karama.
The governor saluted the martyrs of duty and the armed forces who responded to the nation's call to defend its sovereignty, pride and dignity, led by the martyr of the nation, the heroic fighter Khamis Abdullah Abkar, the former governor of West Darfur State and head of the army. the Sudanese coalition and said: “We will remain on the path of the martyrs.”
Stressing the need to unify the national ranks among all components and sectors to support and sustain the armed forces in order to deter and defeat the terrorist militias and eliminate the Al-Dagalo settlement project.
