Behavioral change … A first step to save Sudan ✍️ Dr Osama al -Fateh al -omari

In the light of the crises intertwined in Sudan, political, social and economic conditions have become a mirror which reflects the size of the deterioration that human behavior has reached in the management of the affairs of the country. In acute tensions, false accusations, misunderstandings, abuses, lie, disinformation and extortion, all are not only temporary manifestations, but have been transformed into models of behavior which hinder any possibility of reform or reconciliation.

Poor self -confidence among individuals and institutions, and the absence of the ability to manage differences in a responsible spirit is the direct result of the accumulation of these bad behaviors. While this approach continues, the suffering of the Sudanese people is exacerbated, because millions of people live under the weight of the displacement, poverty, lack of services and the collapse of infrastructure, while children, women and the elderly stand in rows before to endure the hard daily newspapers.

It is not possible to speak of a better future without a radical treatment of this behavioral crisis. The real change starts from man, of his way of thinking and dealing with the other, and of his transformation of the mentality of exclusion and hostility to the mentality of cooperation and construction. Here, the importance of restoring the values of honesty, integrity, responsibility and mutual respect arises as a basis for any serious national project.

Our organization Abu Adam confirms that the judgment of people’s suffering is not a deferred option, but rather an urgent duty that requires an individual and collective commitment. Our vision is based on the fact that the reform begins to stop absurd conflicts, to reject a culture of hatred and to open the way to the energies of youth, women and creators to participate in the reconstruction of the country.

Sudan will not get up with empty promises or continuous conflicts, but rather with a sincere will that modifies bad behavior, cultivates self -confidence and restores the Sudanese person for his dignity and his ability to dream and work.
