Bringing the corrupt together and keeping the faithful away ✍️ Dr Al-Zubair Hamza Al-Zubair

The phenomenon of bringing together the corrupt and alienating the faithful is one of the most dangerous things affecting institutions and countries, because it represents a coup against the values and principles on which justice and success are based. When the criterion for promotion becomes personal loyalty rather than competence, when betrayal is rewarded and loyalty punished, the real decline begins.
A loyal person is one who works sincerely and honestly, who places the interest of the country or institution above his own interest and who honestly fulfills his responsibilities. As for the corrupt, it is the one who climbs on the shoulders of others, covets positions and gains, and considers position only as a means to access wealth and influence.
When the corrupt close in, doors close to competent people, the hard-working person becomes frustrated, creativity disappears, productivity declines, and institutions become tools that serve individuals, not nations. Injustice seeps into people’s souls until it becomes a general culture, leading to a loss of confidence in leadership, justice and systems.
Correcting this flaw can only be done by restoring the dignity of the loyal people, putting the right person in the right place, and holding accountable anyone who exploits their power or position for their own interests. Homelands are not built with courtesy and are not managed with loyalty, but with justice, integrity and sincerity.
Therefore, the true test of success of any administration or government is its ability to distinguish the honest from the hypocritical, and the sincere from the corrupt. If it succeeds, its institutions will rise and progress, and if it fails, everything will decline, even the values that distinguished it.
