Cardinal responds to Khartoum Governor's call to maintain Omdurman hospital ✍️ Aziz Al-Khair
In an urgent response, Dr. Ashraf Al-Cardinal responded to the call of the acting governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Othman, and the administration of Omdurman Hospital regarding the urgent maintenance of the hospital, its rehabilitation and its return to service. The governor of Khartoum State was on an inspection visit to Omdurman Hospital, where work had been stopped due to the great destruction caused by the war, and in a direct broadcast, the governor appealed to the cardinal, on behalf of the nation and the people of Omdurman, to rehabilitate the hospital. The governor, in a direct message to Dr. Ashraf Al-Cardinal, asked him to maintain Omdurman Hospital and return it to its original condition. This call found an immediate response from Dr. Ashraf Al-Cardinal. The Cardinal, who announced his commitment to maintaining the hospital and immediately filling all needs, gaps and requirements, communicated with the governor and the hospital administration and coordinated with them to start work immediately. He appointed a special representative to follow up. supervise and implement immediately in coordination with the governor and the hospital administration, with the personal follow-up of the Cardinal. The Cardinal opened the largest orthopedic and trauma surgery complex in Sudan at Omdurman Hospital at a cost of over a trillion pounds in 2021. The construction of the complex was very high and some doctors spoke and pitied the Cardinal, but the Cardinal's speech was clear: “I will build this complex with the latest equipment for the benefit of the people of the country. Now the Cardinal is returning to build, rebuild and rehabilitate the hospital for the benefit of the country and the people of Omdurman. The Cardinal's complex was an expression on a modern medical complex equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment. .a complex considered the largest in Sudan…the latest equipment has been brought in. The Cardinal met a few days ago with the Federal Minister of Health, who praised the Cardinal's interest in the medical field, supporting and contributing to the rehabilitation, development and creation of important facilities and hospitals.

He also supported the cities of Karima and Atbara before, and sponsored many charitable programs, as well as the nursing home, and sponsored Umrah for them and inaugurated major projects such as the Cardinal Medical Complex for women and children in the locality of Abu Hamad, on the Nile. the state, and supported the Al-Jili center and the Al-Jili schools, and established schools and classes in the Zamzam, Abu Shouk and Al Salam camps in the outskirts of Darfur in order to educate children and qualify them academically within the framework of the program. national roles that men continued to play in all regions of Sudan, in the hospitals of El Geneina, El Fasher and Abu Hamad, sponsored by Dr. Ashraf the Cardinal, and outside the country, the Cardinal Hospital was opened in Juba, which These days, he visits an Islamic complex in Ethiopia.
