The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said: “We will not lay down our arms until the country is rid of all rebels and mercenaries and we continue to crush the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia. And eliminate it.

Addressing today's graduation ceremony of military cadets, he explained that today's graduation of these officers is a gift to the Sudanese people and a real addition to the heroes who are leading the battle for dignity. The battle continues with the enemy, and we will not retreat or surrender, and we will not negotiate with any party, whoever it may be.

Stating that he does not mind achieving peace, he stressed that he welcomes all sincere efforts for peace, but it must be a peace that preserves the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people. He added: “We want the war to stop. with heads held high and victorious. The war cannot stop as long as the enemy is present in the homes of citizens and besieged in Babanusa and the villages of Al-Jazeera” and Al-Fasher.

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan confirmed that as long as the rebels are present in these areas, the war will continue and will not stop.

Addressing the graduating officers, His Excellency said that your entry into the ranks of the armed forces at this time when the country is exposed to plots confirms the readiness of the armed forces and their willingness to move forward to thwart these plans. are capable of destroying and eliminating this enemy.

The president of the Transitional Sovereignty Council reiterated his favourable welcome to any peace negotiations, but said that they must include all popular sectors and armed struggle movements participating in the battle for dignity.

Stressing that the army is not the only one fighting in this battle, any negotiation must therefore be accompanied by the visions of the base.

He said that any party calling for negotiations must recognize the government of Sudan and its sovereignty over its lands. Al-Burhan said: “We want to alert the special envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Ramadane Lamamra, not to adopt any vision for the rebels, and he must consult the government of Sudan regarding any initiative,” indicating that even the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If the United States of America wants to help the cause of peace in Sudan, it should talk to the government of Sudan and listen to its views on stopping the war and establishing peace.

Confirming that an agreement had already been reached with the terrorist militia in Jeddah and that it did not abide by it, but instead continued its aggression against the Sudanese people and violated their honor and property.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces said that there is no way to fight this battle to the end and that we will defeat the enemy, stressing that this land has proven the fathers and grandfathers who preserved it and pampered it with blood, and we are following their path.
