Clarification from the Ministry of Health: regarding the treatment of Sudanese patients through the Turkish protocol
The Federal Ministry of Health said that it has been following in the recent period, citing various means of communication, the issue of treatment of Sudanese patients through the Turkish protocol, noting that out of concern for the principle of transparency and property of correct information for public opinion, he issued the following statement (We inform you and inform you of the following: –
1- The protocol is aimed at Sudanese patients inside the country and not at those in Turkey as has been recommended.
2- The procedure is carried out through the medical commission for medical cases for which there is no treatment within the country, and the procedure is carried out through specialized commissions for many diseases such as (marrow transplantation, nervous system diseases and advanced orthopedic surgeries). ).
4- The protocol has been operating for years and was renewed through a joint mechanism to send Sudanese patients from Sudan for treatment in Turkey.
5- There are many treatment protocols for Sudanese patients from Sudan for treatment abroad, such as the Egyptian protocol.
The Federal Ministry of Health seeks to provide services to every Sudanese citizen and ensures that treatment abroad extends to Sudanese patients in the country.
