Community Recovery Technical Committee Head Asks Administrative Directors to Name Communities
The head of the Jabraka Community Technical Committee, the inspector of the presidency of Shikan locality in North Kordofan State, Mr. Ibrahim Hadi, ordered the directors of the administrative units of El Obeid city to speed up the election of community models to implement the Jabaraka community project presented by the Eco Sudan organization to combat drought and desertification, to realize the concept of food security by producing vegetables in neighborhoods and schools that meet the specifications and standards according to the project design and the water sources implemented in the Al-Siqa project in the locality.
Hoda added during the meeting, which was attended by the directors of the administrative units of Al-Obeid, the director of the Department of Agriculture and the partners of the locality, after approving the form and the survey plan, that the project, in terms of indicators, is very successful because it provides vegetables in the neighborhoods and schools. We are just waiting for the directors of the administrative units to submit their proposals for sites that correspond to the project methodology, and the enthusiasm of the communities for immediate implementation.
It should be noted that Thursday, August 1, 2024 has been set as the date for identifying the proposed communities and determining the date of the survey.
