Conclusion of the meeting to prepare training modules for rapid intervention teams
The meeting to prepare standard training programs for rapid response teams, organized by the General Department of Emergency and Epidemic Control of the Federal and Red Sea Ministries of Health, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, from October 27 to 29 this year, it targeted managers working in emergency services in the Red Sea and in a number of states and Länder.
The conclusion of the workshop was celebrated at the Maritime Agencies Hall of Port Sudan, by the Director General of the Health Sector, Dr. Ahlam Abdel Rasoul, Dr. Montaser Muhammad Othman, the Director of the General Emergency Department of the Federal Republic, Dr Al -Fateh Rabie, Director of National Quarantine, 0. Fatima Muhammad Othman, Director of the State Health Emergency Department, and 0. Anwar Jabara, Representative of the World Health Organization and a number of emergency services.
Dr. Ahlam spoke about the importance of the meeting held in the state in the training plans, and stressed the importance of urgency, as well as the importance of activating the departments in all localities and of form an integrated work team.
Dr. Montaser spoke about the importance and necessity of training emergency teams. He welcomed this meeting, considered an advanced step in follow-up, emphasizing his support for the emergency services.
The importance of rapid response teams was also discussed by Dr Al-Fateh Rabie, Laila Hamad Al-Nil, Fatima Muhammad Othman, Dr Abdullah Al-Halawi and Anwar Jabbara.
On the other hand, he reviewed the progress of the training of trainers workshop on the standard treatment of cases of watery diarrheal diseases (cholera), meningitis and diarrhea, organized by the Federal Ministry of Health in cooperation with the World Health Organization. with the support of the European Union, in the agency hall during the period of October 28-30, 2024 AD, which targets medical personnel working in Port Sudan and local 0 hospitals.
