Dear Team: Sudan's natural resources are at the root of conflicts, international ambitions and the war raging in the country.

Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, addressed the meeting of the Supreme Committee responsible for supervising the demarcation of the baseline, the establishment of the marine database and resource maximization, organized by the National Boundary Commission, which is an extension of the workshop organized by the Commission last August in the city of Port Sudan.

The Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council affirmed that Sudan is full of unexploited visible and hidden natural resources, indicating that they are the origin of conflicts, international ambitions and the war currently taking place in Sudan.

Also addressing the meeting was the head of the National Boundary Commission, Lieutenant General Engineer Al-Amin Mohamed Banga, who presented the roadmap of the commission's work, noting that the commission supervises the demarcation of borders international, domestic and maritime in addition to the law. maritime areas and the continental shelf and works in coordination with maritime partners.
