Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Yasser Al-Atta, visits the 3rd Infantry Division

Lieutenant General Yasser Abdel Rahman Al-Atta, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and member of the Sovereign Council, visited the 3rd Infantry Division in the city of Shendi. He was accompanied during this visit by Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas Al-Labib, Deputy Director of the Security and Intelligence Service, and a number of members of his accompanying delegation.

The visiting delegation was received by Major General Hamdan Abdel Qader Dawoud, commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, and Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Bashir, supervisor of the division's operations, in addition to Major General Omar Al-Sir, deputy commander of the division, control commanders and brigades, and heads of divisions and military units.

The visit aimed to follow up on military preparations and check the progress of ongoing operations, which aim to advance on all military axes to defeat the militias. His Excellency also visited the front sites, which include the Armed Forces, the Security and Intelligence Service forces, the Joint Forces and Mustafarin, where he confirmed the readiness of the forces to advance military operations.

In his speech to the forces, His Excellency stressed that the end of the militia is near and the time of victory is approaching. He also explained that the real reason for the war was the attempt to install mercenaries from some West African countries in place of the Sudanese, stressing that this war is an existential war for the Sudanese people.

His Excellency called on the United Nations to prevent countries supporting the militia from providing it with weapons, ammunition and supplies, instead of recommending the dispatch of forces to protect civilians. He also sent a message to countries supporting the rebellion, calling on them to stop their interventions in Sudan, stressing that the army and the people are fighting together and that no goal of these countries will be achieved in Sudan.

Concluding his speech, His Excellency preached that the armed forces are now at their best, stressing the entry of new qualitative weapons into the battle that will bring a major transformation and soon contribute to the destruction of the militia. He also confirmed that the armed forces will soon mobilize in all directions to liberate every square inch of Sudanese territory.
